Public Welcome Garden Installation/Maintenance Free Public Parking Lots of Physical Activity
They have a large Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom and we clean up and weed their large native plantings on the playground area and in their "prairie strip" outside their fence. We may also thin out some native plants (which volunteers can take home).
This will happen most Wednesdays in spring and fall, and likely every other Wed in the Summer, with times changing with the weather.

Public Welcome Family Friendly Hands-On/How-To Workshop Garden Installation/Maintenance Free Public Parking Lots of Physical Activity
We will do some winter cleaning, weed pulling and seedling identification. There will probably be some seedlings available to bring home, especially of shining blue star. Bring gloves, pruners, small trowel &/or weed puller if you have them, but we will have some extra tools if you don't have them. This can be an opportunity to learn to ID some spring native plants while working to clean up our adopted area.
